Formerly a professional runner for New Balance, Lauren Centrowitz is a two time Olympic Trials Qualifier (2008, 2012).  Centrowitz was 5th in the 1500m at the USATF Indoor Track and Field Championships in 2012.

 

While competing at Stanford University where she graduated with a degree in Political Science ('09), Centrowitz was 5 times All-American setting the outdoor 1500m school record in a time of 4:10.23. She was also a member of the American record setting 4x1500m team winning the event at The Penn Relays in 2006.

 

As a senior at Broadneck, Centrowitz won eight state track titles and two individual state cross-country crowns.

 

Centrowitz holds the high school Maryland state record in the Mile with her 4:53.79 in 2004 while competing for Broadneck HS as well as the Marylander mile record of 4:37.12 that she ran to win the Olympic Development Women's Mile at The Penn Relays in 2011.
